Cerzeto (in Arbëresh , IPA : [ar'bəreʃ] : Qana ) is a southern Italian municipality with 1,315 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Cosenza in Calabria .

Location and dates

The area of ​​the municipality is at an altitude of 470 m above sea level and covers an area of ​​21 km² . Cerzeto is about 40 km north of Cosenza . The districts are Cavallerizzo and San Giacomo. Cavallerizzo is no longer inhabited since a landslide on March 7, 2005. The neighboring municipalities are Bisignano , Cervicati , Fuscaldo , Mongrassano , San Martino di Finita , Torano Castello and Rota Greca .
