Humlebæk

Humlebæk is a fishing village on the Øresund coast and is located in Fredensborg Municipality in the Hovedstaden region in Denmark . The place used to belong to the Fredensborg-Humlebæk municipality .

The place is located south of Elsinore .

history

The fishing village has grown together over time with the towns of Sletten and Torpen . The landing at Humlebæk in 1700 took place nearby .

Culture

In the place is the Louisiana Museum for Modern Art , probably the most important museum for modern and contemporary art in Denmark.

The place is the seat of Coloplast . There is a train station in the village.
