The Huron Glacier is a glacier on Livingston Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It flows east to Moon Bay .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 1958 after the US sealer Huron under Captain John Davis , who operated in the waters around the South Shetland Islands in two Antarctic summer campaigns between 1820 and 1822.
