Husking Bee ( Japanese ハ ス キ ン グ ・ ビ ー , Hasukingu Bī ) was a pop-punk / alternative rock band from Japan that was formed in 1994 and disbanded in 2005.

History and work

Band members since 1995, Masafumi Isobe ( 磯部正文 , Isobe Masafumi ; vocals and guitar), Tekkin ( てっきん , Bass, Middle Class Tetsuya Kudō ( 工藤哲也 , Kudō Tetsuya )) and Leona Hiramoto ( 平本レオナ , Hiramoto Reona ; drums ) and Kazuya Hirabayashi ( 平林 一 哉 , Hirabayashi Kazuya ; guitar, vocals) since 2000. The group has released a total of five albums and is featured on various compilations.

The band, with their instrumental and songwriting skills, is highly regarded within the alternative / punk scene, especially in Japan. In 2007 a tribute album was recorded by various Japanese bands.
