The Rustwerder nature reserve is a nature reserve in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania on the Boiensdorfer Werder peninsula . It belongs to the Wismar Bay landscape unit and was designated on March 31, 1971 with a size of 20 hectares. The protective purpose is to preserve a beach hook that is actively formed by coastal compensation processes. Furthermore, salt grasslands have been grazed in the protected area for centuries and are important breeding grounds for numerous bird species.

The current state of the area is rated as good. Disturbances come from the nearby campground.

Part of the area has been owned by the NABU Foundation for National Natural Heritage since 2009 .
