Selmsdorfer Traveufer nature reserve

The Selmsdorfer Traveufer nature reserve is a 123 hectare nature reserve in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania . It is located west of Dassow , north of Selmsdorf and was expelled on October 23, 1990. The protection goal is to maintain a steep bank area of the Untertrave up to 15 meters high with unwooded slopes, bushes and forest areas as well as adjacent springs and moors. The state of the area is assessed as good, although the location on the inner-German border , which has been isolated for decades, has a beneficial effect. It is possible to inspect the protected area areas on hiking trails in some areas. In places there are beautiful views of the Trave.
