Setup date June 15, 1990

The nature reserve Moorer Busch is a nature reserve in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania . It is located in the municipalities of Damshagen and Stepenitztal in the district of Northwest Mecklenburg five kilometers northwest of Grevesmühlen . The eponymous place Moor is not far north. The protected area was designated on June 15, 1990 and expanded in 1993. The protection goal is the rewetting and renaturation of a rain bog that was used as grassland and peat removal for over 200 years until 1990.

The state of the area is classified as unsatisfactory because the water balance of the bog is disturbed. The original rain moor vegetation no longer exists. Some of the areas can be accessed via a path leading from the moor into the area.
