Hussein Haqqani

Hussein Haqqani (born July 1, 1956 in Karachi ) is a Pakistani diplomat , journalist and academic. He was appointed Pakistani ambassador to the United States in April 2008 by Yousaf Raza Gilani . Before that, he served as his country's ambassador to Sri Lanka from 1992 to 1993 .
