Hussein Kuli Khan Nawab (* 1864 ; † in the 20th century ), called Sadr es-Saltaneh , was a Persian foreign minister and ambassador .

Life

Hajj Hussein Kuli Khan Nawab was the seventh son of Mirza Agha-Khan Sadr-Azam Nouri, Prime Minister from 1851 to 1857 under Naser ad-Din Shah .

In 1886 he was consul general in Bombay and was envoy to Washington . In 1903, Hussein Kuli Khan Nawab became embassy secretary in London and was inducted into the Most Distinguished Order of the Bath , Civil Division.

In 1910 Hussein Kuli Khan Nawab became Persian Foreign Minister . On October 16, 1910, the British government announced that if order was not established on the southern trade routes to the satisfaction of George V within three months , a police intervention would take place under British command.

From January 7, 1915, Hussein Kuli Khan Nawab was envoy to Friedrich August III. of Saxony.
