Abdul Ali Khan Sadigh-es-Saltaneh

Mirza Abdul Ali Khan Sadigh-es-Saltaneh (* 1876 ; † in the 20th century) was a Persian diplomat .

Life

Sadigh-es-Saltaneh was a grandson of Fath Ali Shah . His father was a nephew and master of ceremonies of Mozaffar ad-Din Shah . He graduated from Muzzafary College, Tabriz . In 1897 he was appointed chamberlain at the court of Mozaffar ad-Din Shah. In 1899 he entered the foreign service and became imperial representative at the Anglo-Persian Oil Company in London . In 1910 he was appointed counselor at the embassy in London. In 1915 he was appointed Ministre plénipotentiaire . In 1919, Abdul Ali Khan, Sadigh-es-Saltaneh, Ministre plénipotentiaire was in Washington, DC , where he delivered a greeting from Ahmad Shah Qajar to the 15th International Congress against Alcoholism from September 21 to 26, 1920.

During his tenure in Berlin, alleged subsidiary agreements to the Anglo-Iranian treaty of 1919 were alleged, which Sadigh-es-Saltaneh denied.
