An important trademark of the Hustinetten is the Hustinetten bear , which in 2006 was named the third most popular advertising figure in Germany.

Manufacturer and trademark owner

In 1986, the Beiersdorf company sold the Hustinetten branch to the Austrian company Egger's Sohn Süßwaren und Naturmittel GmbH, which had been producing them since 1966. The trademark rights were transferred to the Egger company for Austria only, in Germany it is owned by the Aldi company. In 2008, Egger was again taken over by Haas , which is also based in Austria .
