Hubris (mythology)

Hybris ( ancient Greek Ὕβρις Hýbris , German , 'arrogance, presumption' ) is the name of a nymph in Greek mythology with whom Zeus is said to have begat the demigod Pan , other sources refer to Hybris as the mother of Koros.

Some quarters, the name is Thymbris specified.

Contumelia is mentioned as the Latin equivalent of hubris .
