Hydra the Revenge in Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom ( Allentown , Pennsylvania , USA ) is a steel roller coaster of the Floorless Coaster model from the manufacturer Bolliger & Mabillard , which opened on May 7, 2005.
It was erected at the point in the park where the Hercules wooden roller coaster previously made its rounds.
The entire rail is painted green.
journey
In contrast to most other roller coasters, the first inversion of the ride is not after the descent , but immediately after the train has left the station. It's a heartline roll . Only then is the train pulled to a height of 29 m before it descends a 31 m high descent. The train reaches a maximum speed of 85 km / h with which it travels through the next inversion, the inclined - dive loop .
