Hydraulic inductance

The hydraulic inductance (English: hydraulic inductance ) is the resistance of the hydraulic fluid against the acceleration in translational movements in the hydraulic cylinders or pipes or rotational movements in the hydraulic motors . It indicates which pressure difference is required for a change in volume flow :

The name points to the electro-hydraulic analogy , where the inductance describes the relationship between induced voltage and the change in current over time .
