Hyperanthes

Hyperanthes († 480 BC ) was a member of the Persian Achaemenid dynasty in the 5th century BC. He was a son of the great king Dareios I and the Phratagone, daughter of Artanes . His full brother was Abrokomas .

During the invasion of Greece by Xerxes I in 480 BC. Both Hyperanthes and Abrokomas fell in the battle of Thermopylae .
