Abrokomas (son of Darius)
Abrokomas († August 11, 480 BC at Thermopylae ) was a son of the Persian great king Dareios I and the Phratagune . Phratagune was the daughter of Artanes , brother of Darius. For Abrokomes, therefore, Darius was both father and great-uncle. Like his brother Hyperanthes, Abrokomas probably died on August 11, 480 BC. u. Z. in the battle of Thermopylae , fighting for Xerxes I. The spelling Abrokomes is a Hellenization.
He has the same name as the Persian general Abrokomas , who lived around 400 BC. Lived.
