Hyrnetho
Hyrnetho ( Greek Ὑρνηθώ ) was a daughter of Temenus , king of Argos and grandson of Heracles in Greek mythology .
She was married to Deiphontes . Her father Temenos preferred these his own sons, whereupon they killed him. When he was dying, he installed Deiphontes as his successor. Although the army accepted him as king, because of the ongoing enmity of his brothers-in-law, he moved with his wife to Epidaurus , whose king let him rule. Then the sons of Temenus moved to Epidaurus to get their sister Hyrnetho to leave her husband. Since she refused, they robbed her brothers, Deiphontes pursued them, and in the subsequent fight Hyrnetho was killed. Deiphontes buried her and built a heroon named Hyrnethion in her honor .
