The Hyrum Slough is a river in Cache County in the US state of Utah . It rises off an embankment at the intersection between E 400 S and S 300 E in Hyrum about one kilometer northeast of the Hyrum Reservoir or Hyrum State Park , where it is supplemented by a canal . It then flows in a north-westerly direction. In the course of its course, various canals meet the river, including the Hydrum Canal . The Hyrum Slough opens after a short distance about 50 meters south of a dead end of W 1800 S in the Spring Creek . The river length is about 15 kilometers.
