Hyvinkään Ahmat is a Finnish ice hockey club from Hyvinkää founded in 1986 . After the bankruptcy of the professional team, the club only has one youth department.
history
The association was founded in 1986. In the 1996/97 season , the professional team of Hyvinkään Ahmat took part for the first time in the game operation of I-divisioona , the then second-highest Finnish league. For the 2000/01 season , the team was included in the Mestis , the new second division after a reform of the divisions in Finnish ice hockey. Following the relegation in the 2003/04 season , the professional division of Hyvinkään Ahmat went bankrupt. Since then, the club has only consisted of a junior division.
