The company was founded in 1997 in Technopark Kerala. In the same year, business activities in Europe began. In the following year IBS Software Services initiated the reengineering for the management training system for the Swissair crew .
Certification for EN ISO 9001 took place in 2000 . In the same year, business operations began in the USA. In 2002, KPMG certified IBS Software Services as a CMMI Level 5 company.
In 2006 an office was opened in Tokyo.
