ID&T is a Dutch entertainment and media company . The company was founded in early 1990 and organizes dance events, which are among the largest in the world.

Act

ID&T stands for the initials of the three Amsterdamers Irfan van Ewijk, Duncan Stutterheim & Theo Lelie. All three already had experience of hosting house and techno parties when they founded ID&T in the early 1990s, with the express goal of hosting events that were previously unheard of in the Dutch and European electronic dance music scene Should reach orders of magnitude. Their first big and joint event was The Final Exam in the Utrecht Conference Center, already with over 10,000 visitors.

Today ID&T is the largest dance organizer in the Netherlands. Her events include Sensation , Mystery Land , Innercity , Thunderdome , Trance Energy , Bloomingdale, Tomorrowland and NJOY with more than 40,000 visitors. ID&T achieved worldwide fame primarily as the organizer of the Tomorrowland Festival in Boom, Belgium. Up to 400,000 festival visitors from over 200 countries celebrated on the site this year (2018). The pre-sale ended after a few seconds.

ID&T also operates its own music label ( Be Yourself Music , formerly ID&T Release ) and the radio station ID&T Radio .

In 2005 a Sensation White took place in Germany for the first time . For this purpose, a German branch called ID&T Germany was founded as a joint venture with the musical and theater group Stage Entertainment (formerly Stage Holding ) .
