The Institut za međunarodnu politiku i privredu (IMPP, official English name: Institute of International Politics and Economics (IIPE), German: Institute for International Politics and Economics ) is a research institute based in Belgrade .

It was founded in 1947 by decision of the government of Yugoslavia . Research was carried out on political, economic and legal aspects of international relations , with a focus on the role of the movement of the non-aligned states .

Since 1966 the IIPE has published the magazine Međunarodna politika ( ISSN  0543-3657 ), founded in 1950 by the Yugoslav Association of Journalists , of which a German-language edition ( Internationale Politik , ISSN  0535-4129 ) was printed in the years 1954–1991 . Other journals published by the IIPE are Međunarodna problemi (International Problems, founded in 1949, ISSN  0025-8555 ) and Evropsko Zakonodavstvo (European legislation, founded in 2002, ISSN  1450-6815 ).

Around 30 researchers and around 30 other employees are currently employed at the IMPP. Today's research focuses on international relations and the relations between Serbia and the states of the European Union and Southeastern Europe . The institute maintains its own library.
