IRAS 18059-3211 , also Gomez's Hamburger according to its appearance , is an astronomical object in the constellation Sagittarius . It was discovered in 1985 by Arturo Gomez at the Cerro Tololo Inter-American Observatory and classified as a planetary nebula . Its distance has been estimated at 6,500 light years . More recent results, however, suggest that the appearance was caused by a star with a protoplanetary disk and a distance of only 900 light years. However, the nature of the object has not yet been clarified with certainty.
