ISO 31
ISO 31 ( Quantities and Units ) appeared in 1992 and was an international standard of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). It has been withdrawn and replaced by the ISO 80000 series of standards . Along with DIN 1319, it was one of the fundamental standards in metrology . Physical quantities , their units of measurement and notation, notation of numbers , formulas and formula symbols as well as coherent systems of units (especially the SI units ) were regulated .
Most parts of the successor standard are available in Germany as DIN EN ISO 80000-x in a version from August 2013.
