iSpeed is a steel roller coaster in the Mirabilandia amusement park near Ravenna ( Emilia-Romagna , Italy ). The facility of the manufacturer Intamin , which opened on June 20, 2009, is the fastest roller coaster in Italy. An identical plant exists with Red Fire since July 8 2015 Turkish Korsan Adasi .
It was built for 19 million euros on the spot where the Sierra Tonante wooden roller coaster rode its laps until 2007 . The 1,000 m long route reaches a height of 55 m. The trains are accelerated by LSM from 0 to 110 km / h within 2.2 seconds.
