I Am the Femme Fatale (English for "I am a fateful woman" ) is an American documentary about Britney Spears that was produced in 2011 and broadcast on MTV .

The documentary accompanies Spears while working on her seventh studio album Femme Fatale , including in the recording studio with the singer will.i.am or during the recordings for her video Till the World Ends . The documentary also accompanies Spears to her first appearance and thus her stage comeback at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas . During the documentary, she revealed that there had to be vanilla candles in the recording studio so that she could feel comfortable. Only a few weeks after the broadcast, vanilla candles with the words Britney Spears Vanilla Flame were available for 72 hours in the official online shop . Spears posted a trailer on Twitter a few days before it aired and announced the final broadcast date.
