Ian Ogilvy (born September 30, 1943 in Woking , Surrey , United Kingdom ) is a British actor .

Live and act

Ogilvy received his training at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London and made his stage debut in 1962. Since 1966 he has worked in various films and switched to television in the 1970s. In 1978 he was Simon Templar's successor to Roger Moore in the Return of the Saint series . In the 1990s and in 2009 in My Big Fat Greek Summer , he returned to film roles in American productions.

Ian Ogilvy is the author who also published the youth book series Miesel for Ravensburger in Germany. So far, "Miesel and the cockroach magic", "Miesel and the dragon keeper", "Miesel and the witch conspiracy", "Miesel and the goo monster" and "Miesel and the horror grotto" have been published.
