Lorenzo Cárdenas Aregullín

Lorenzo Cárdenas Aregullín (born March 23, 1937 in Ciudad Victoria ) is a Mexican priest and bishop emeritus of Papantla .

Life

Lorenzo Cárdenas Aregullín was ordained a priest on June 29, 1962 .

Pope Paul VI appointed him on March 17, 1978 auxiliary bishop in Tehuacán and titular bishop of Crepedula . The episcopal ordination donated him the Bishop of Tampico , Arturo Antonio Szymanski Ramírez , on May 7th of the same year; Co- consecrators were Ernesto Corripio y Ahumada , Archbishop of Mexico , and Rafael Ayala y Ayala , Bishop of Tehuacán .

Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Papantla on August 30, 1980 . On May 2, 2012, Pope Benedict XVI. the resignation put forward by Lorenzo Cárdenas Aregullín for reasons of age.
