Ian Tapp
Ian Tapp (born before 1978) is a British sound engineer .
Life
Trapp began his career with the BBC in 1978 as a sound assistant and worked for many years on British television series and television films . With the drama Fatal Encounter of Charles Finch , he had his debut with the film. Subsequently he worked on other television productions as well as on large film projects. He was, among other things Hollywood - blockbusters such as Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets and The Return of the King - The Lord of the Rings involved. In 2009 , he and Richard Pryke and Resul Pookutty received the Oscar in the Best Sound category for Slumdog Millionaire . He also won the BAFTA Film Award in the Best Sound category for the film .
