Iarbas

Iarbas is a son of Garamantis and Jupiter in Roman mythology .

At the time when Queen Dido ruled over the city of Carthage , he was king of the Gaetulians and a rival of Aeneas , since Iarbas was seeking a marriage with Dido. But she had fallen in love with Aeneas.
