The Ibanag are a people in the Philippines and also the name of the language they speak.

With a little over 500,000 people, the Ibanag are one of the largest ethnic minorities in the Philippines. The people live on the island of Luzon , mainly in the provinces of Cagayan , Isabela and Nueva Vizcaya .

The name is made up of "I" for people and "Bannag" for river. Ibanag can be spelled differently, variants are "Ybanag", "Ybanak" or "Ibanak".
