Ibn Battuta Shopping Mall
The Ibn Battuta Shopping Mall is a large shopping center on Sheikh Zayed Road in southwest Dubai in the United Arab Emirates .
The center, which is located between Dubai Marina and the Jebel Ali port , has a sales area of 250,000 square meters and was opened in 2005.
Architecturally manifested, it has been divided into six replicated "themed worlds": China , India , Persia , Egypt , Tunisia and Andalusia .
Almost all foreign and important fashion labels have large branches in the mall. The shopping center was named after Ibn Battuta , a Berber explorer of the 14th century, also known as "Marco Polo of Arabia". The first IMAX cinema in the United Arab Emirates was also opened in Ibn Battuta Mall .
