Bell X1

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Bell X1 is an Irish band from Celbridge , County Kildare . They were originally founded under the name Juniper . However, when founding member Damien Rice left the band, they changed their name and called themselves Bell X1 from then on . Today the band consists of Paul Noonan, Brian Crosby, Dominic Philips and David Geraghty. Tim O 'Donovan, who also plays for the band Neosupervital , regularly supports Bell X1 on drums.

They have now released five studio albums: Neither Am I (2000), Music In Mouth (2003), Flock (2005 - first released in Ireland), Blue Lights On The Runway (2009) and Bloodless Coup (2011). The debut album Neither Am I was not very successful commercially, but the band was able to expand their fan base. The second album was much more successful, not least because the song Eve, the apple of my eye was used in the American series OC, California .

The song Bigger than me is the latest single from the third album Flock . The song debuted at number 16 on the Irish singles chart and the album hit number one two weeks later.

The name Bell X1
