Ibrahim Khan ( Arabic إبراهيم خان' DMG ' iibrahim khan ; * August 12, 1936 in Anglo-Egyptian Sudan ; † January 9, 2007 ) was a Sudanese actor and radio presenter .

Life

Khan, son of a Sudanese father and an Egyptian mother, was born in what was then the British colony of Anglo-Egyptian Sudan. In 1954 he moved to Egypt, where he spent most of his life. He joined the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts and graduated in 1961. He later worked at Sudan Corner Radio, which later became Nile Valley Radio. There he met a producer who convinced him to work as an actor. In his 40-year acting career, he has worked in many national and international film and television productions. Despite the fact that he spent most of his life in Egypt, he did not receive Egyptian citizenship, but instead kept his father's citizenship.

Khan died on January 9, 2007 at the age of 70 of complications from liver and lung cirrhosis .
