action

3000 years ago BC The Pharaoh is buried in the pyramids of Giza . In the present the grave robber Rick with his two henchmen Karib and Tarak blows up the entrance to the tomb of the Pharaoh. Due to the poison gas escaping, Rick decides not to look for the treasures inside the pyramid until the next day. Suddenly an old woman appears who urgently advises the three men not to enter the grave. When Rick can scare her away at gunpoint, the woman meets a group of camel drivers. She asks them to protect the grave from the looters. However, they too want to have the treasures and therefore rush inside without thinking and gradually succumb to the poison gas.

There's a change of location to New York City , where photographer Bill is currently having a photo shoot with model Lisa. Later they receive the offer to experience a special photo shoot in Egypt . So they fly to the desert state with other photo models. On their drive into the desert, one of the two jeeps bursts a tire. During the tire change, Lisa and male model Gary move away from the group. Soon they come across a corpse behind a dune, one of the camel drivers.

Unaffected by the corpse, the model group starts their photo shoot. Meanwhile, Rick continues to blast inside the pyramid and comes across the treasury. Karib notices the group of models and shoots them with his rifle. Rick thinks this is excessive and orders him to stop. On the contrary, he apologizes to the group and pretends to be an archaeologist . When Bill notices the entrance to the grave, he decides to continue with the photo shoot at this location. Ricky only reluctantly agrees. Due to the heat of the spotlight is mummy of Pharaoh slowly back to life.

One after the other, the group members become victims of the mummy: first, the hand of the stylist Jenny is injured, later Karib, who wants to get away with the gold treasure on his own, is murdered. Meanwhile, one of the models gets involved with Ricky. The mummy later appears in the nearby town and kills Tarak in his slaughterhouse. Ricky, apparently insane, reappears in the burial chamber and is killed by the mummy in the treasury. Zombies are popping up from the earth everywhere. Melinda and June bathe in a lake together. When the two want to go back to the camp separately from each other, Melinda is chased by the mummy and is ultimately eaten by a group of zombies.

Bill, realizing that his group is getting smaller and smaller, decides to go to the burial chamber. A little later he becomes the next victim of the mummy. Due to the absence of Bill later in the camp, the last survivors decide to flee back to the city. Jenny was killed there shortly before. The zombies now also attack the townspeople and the mummy manages to lure the last survivors into a trap in a shed. This turns out to be the camp of the grave robbers around Ricky. They managed to escape from the shed, and the last dynamite stored there could be blown up while the mummy was still in the shed. As the survivors move away from the place, you can see the mummy's hand rise from the fire ...

criticism

“Three treasure graves are in the Egyptian desert about to rob a pharaoh's grave when a fashion photography team appears and wants to use the burial chambers as the ideal backdrop for their work. The revenge of the reawakening Pharaoh is terrible. Evil zombie work that works with extremely crude means. - We advise against it. "
