Ibrahima Tandia (born July 12, 1993 in Longjumeau ) is a French football player of Senegalese origin.
Career
Tandia began playing football at two local clubs in the Paris area before moving to the youth department of the professional club FC Sochaux in 2006 at the age of 13 . Thanks to his talent, he went through the French U-16 and U-17 selection with a total of 17 junior internationals, even if he could not take part in any tournament. In the 2010/11 season he was 17 years old for the first time in the squad of the reserve team from Sochaux, for which he played a few games in the fourth division. Despite the alleged interest of Chelsea FC and Newcastle United , the young footballer decided not to move abroad in August 2011 and instead signed his first professional contract with French first division club SM Caen .
In essence, Tandia was still used in the second team, but he was able to make his first division debut on August 28, 2011 when he came on in the 79th minute in the 2: 3 against Stade Rennes . This was his only season appearance for the team, which was relegated at the end of the season. Even after relegation he was not considered for Caen's first selection again; In view of this, he terminated his contract, which ran until 2014, in July 2013. In February 2014 he joined the Spanish second division club Deportivo Alavés , but was never used in their first team. After his contract ended the following summer, he signed with the French second division FC Tours on October 1, 2014 and was regularly called up there from then on.
