The 1999/2000 season was the fourth season of the Ice Hockey Superleague , the highest British ice hockey division . British champions were the London Knights , who prevailed in the playoffs. The Bracknell Bees became champions of the regular season .

mode

In the regular season, each of the eight teams played a total of 42 games. The first place became the regular season champion. All eight teams qualified for the playoff intermediate round, in which they were divided into two groups of four teams each according to their placement in the regular season. There the teams met against each group opponent in the first and second leg, whereupon the first two places in each group qualified for the playoff semi-finals. The playoff winner became British champions. For a win after regular time and after overtime each team received two points, for a draw and a defeat after overtime one point and for a defeat after regular time zero points.
