I can chancellor! was a political casting , the second season of which was broadcast on May 1, 2012 by the Second German Television . The program was hosted by Jörg Pilawa .

Five candidates, who had qualified in a pre-casting session by jurors Maybrit Illner , Michael Spreng and Oliver Welke , tried to win the prize of a chancellor's salary by representing their political positions as convincingly as possible. The audience in the audience voted 22-year-old law student Allison Jones from Mainz as the winner with 58.4%. The show was recorded in Cologne and Berlin .

In the first season in 2009, the then 18-year-old student Jacob Schrot won with 72.6% of all audience votes. The first season was moderated by today's government spokesman Steffen Seibert . Anke Engelke , Henning Scherf and Günther Jauch were on the jury at the time .

In 2009 over 2500 young people between the ages of 18 and 35 applied to ZDF. In the second season there were only 1000.
