Big cities Dusseldorf

The Ickbach is a brook in Düsseldorf . It was channeled underground around 1900, since then it has been completely underground and is no longer shown on current city maps, its exact course is not known. Its north and south arms unite in Oberbilk and shortly afterwards flow into the Düssel on the right side . A street named after him ran on the site of today's Rheinbahn depot in Lierenfeld . The village of Icklack named after him can still be found today in the street name An der Icklack . At the end of 2010, the Ickbach was a topic in the local press when an "underground, piped water" was found during construction work.
