Idle Class is a punk rock band from Münster , which was founded in 2011. The band consists of lead singer Tobias Pelz, lead singer / bassist Benjamin Bunzel, guitarists Josua Rieber and Daniel Georgiou and drummer Stefan Langener.

By the end of 2015 the band had released two studio albums, two EPs and various sampler contributions on various labels.

history

In November 2011 the band Idle Class was founded in Münster, Westphalia. In spring 2012 the band released their first EP called Stumbling Home , which was re-released on vinyl in October 2012 by the Swedish label Black Star Foundation .

After about 50 concerts, the band withdrew to work on their first studio album. In the summer of 2013, the debut long player The Drama's Done was released on CD and vinyl by the Black Star Foundation. This was followed by numerous appearances in the supporting act of bands such as Anti-Flag , Itchy Poopzkid , Samiam and Taking Back Sunday as well as at various festivals in Germany, France, Switzerland, Austria and the Benelux countries.

After the release of the split EP together with Fights and Fires in October 2014, the band was signed to the Münster label Uncle M due to the dissolution of the Black Star Foundation .

In 2015 Idle Class recorded the second album Of Glass and Paper with producer Bastian Hartmann in the Ghostcity Recordings Studio near Nuremberg , which was released in September 2015 via Uncle M.
