Idse is an island in the municipality beach in Norwegian Fylke Rogaland . In 2017, 116 people lived on the island, whose main source of income is tourism .
location
Idse Island is located east of Stavanger and southwest of Strand Municipality's administrative center , Jørpeland . The Høgsfjord , at the mouth of which the island is located, runs inland from Idse to the south-west . There are numerous other islands in the immediate vicinity of Idse, although they are smaller in area. To the north is the island of Heng .
traffic
Idse is connected to the road network by a bridge. This runs over the Idsesund to the neighboring island of Idsal, from where another bridge leads to the mainland. Idse also has a jetty for small boats.
