Iff Bennett

Iff Bennett , bourgeois Gottfried "Iff" Balve (born before 1978) is a Luxembourg singer, presenter, author and producer. Bennett became known as a spokesman for Radio Luxemburg (including Musikexpress ) and a presenter from the early days of the private television broadcaster RTL Television .

Life

As a singer he was produced from 1978 by Frank Farian under the stage name Iff Bennett ; He sang hits like Domani , Gina , Giana Nazionale , A Whiter Shade of Pale , Just for You , Love is Life and Wenn only derlast Baum .

On February 1, 1983, after the journalist had worked for one of Luxembourg's largest weekly magazines for two years, Bennett became Marketing Director at Radio Tele Luxembourg as the successor to Thomas Wilsch. At that time he was in charge of the hallo RTL club and wrote numerous articles for the club magazine of the same name.

In the early days of RTL plus in Luxembourg - later RTL - he moderated the talk magazine Typisch RTL , the hello RTL Club , the travel program Check-in and the animal programs Die Tier-Show and Einfach Tierisch . For his services to animal welfare , Bennett was awarded the “Golden Elephant” by the then Chancellor Helmut Kohl .

From 1993 to 1999 Bennett took over the moderation training of the station and developed many formats as an author. He continued this work for four years at Endemol in the field of international format development.

Bennett later worked as an author, coach and format developer in the Cologne-based production company Blueprint Productions GmbH, which was founded by the entertainer Franklin .
