Ignace Berten

Ignace Berten (* 1940 ) is a Roman Catholic theologian .

Life

Berten has been a member of the Roman Catholic Order of the Dominicans since 1958 . He studied philosophy and Roman Catholic theology in Le Sarte-Huy, Friborg (Switzerland), Saulchoir-Etiolles and Nijmwegen. In 1966 he was ordained a priest. Berten worked as a university professor for Catholic theology at the Espaces Bruxelles in Brussels . Edward Schillebeeckx wrote a foreword to his introduction to the theology of Wolfhart Pannenberg , which was translated from French into German .
