Ignatz Lessmann
Ignatius (Ignatz) Rudolphus Leßmann (* May 4, 1800 in Paderborn ; † October 25, 1869 there ) was a German teacher and politician .
Life
Leßmann was the son of the master dish maker Caspar (us) Lesmann and his wife Anna Carolina, née Reinecke. He was a Catholic and remained unmarried.
Leßmann studied theology and philosophy in Paderborn, Bonn and Berlin and was awarded a Dr. phil is doing his doctorate. In 1821 he became a teacher and later a professor at the grammar school in Paderborn. On September 29, 1822, he was ordained a priest in Paderborn. In 1861 he retired and was active in the priestly and pastoral service of the university church in Paderborn until his death .
In 1850 he was a member of the Volkshaus of the Erfurt Union Parliament .
