Ignjat Đurđević , also Ignazio Giorgi (* February 1675 in Ragusa (now Dubrovnik), † January 21, 1737 or January 22, 1737 in Dubrovnik) was a poet and translator, also a Benedictine monk and astronomer.

Đurđević, from a noble family, was a trilingual poet, he wrote in Latin, Italian and Croatian.

As a writer, Đurđević was extremely fruitful, his poetry predominantly didactic and religious. The most excellent of his poems are Uzdasi Mandaljene pokornic (sigh of the penitent Magdalena , 1728), the description of the experiences of a girl in the river of the world, Saltjer sloinski (Slavic Psalter , 1729) and the joke poem Marunko i Pavica , in which the life and love of two Venetians Young men are portrayed in a humorous way. Ivan Mazuranié (Agram 1855) edited his poems.

Đurđević was abbot of the Benedictine monastery of San Giacomo on the island of Mljet , represented the interests of the former in a dispute between his monastery and the Republic of Ragusa and was therefore expelled, but recalled at the request of the Pope. He died in Dubrovnik on January 21 or 22, 1737.
