Igor Bour

Igor Bour , born Lazari , (born December 18, 1984 ) is a former Moldovan weightlifter .

Career

Bour was banned from doping for two years in 2004 and took the name Bour in 2005. After his suspension, he was sixth at the 2006 World Championships in the class up to 56 kg and also at the 2007 World Championships he reached sixth place. At the 2007 European Championships , he won the gold medal. He was also first at the European Weightlifting Championships in 2008 . However, after a positive test for metandienone , the title was revoked and he was banned for four years. Due to his name change, it was not noticed that his second doping violation had already occurred. In 2012, Bour won the gold medal at the World University Championships. At the European Championships in 2013 Bour was second in the class up to 62 kg. However, after it was discovered that he had already been banned twice for doping, he was banned for life retrospectively from 2008 and all results were deleted.
