Il Bellerofonte

Il Bellerofonte is an Italian-language baroque opera by the Czech composer Josef Mysliveček , based on the Greek legend of the Bellerophon . The libretto is by Giuseppe Bonecchi .

The first and so far only recording of the opera was made in 1987 under Zoltán Peskó with the Czech Philharmonic Choir and the Prague Chamber Orchestra (available on Supraphon , three DDD CDs, 172 min., 21 sec.).
