Ildar Rafekowitsch Muchometow ( Russian Ильдар Рафекович Мухометов ; born September 21, 1972 in Moscow ) is a former Russian ice hockey goalkeeper who has been working as the general manager of various KHL clubs since he retired .

Career

Ildar Muchometow began his career as a hockey player in his hometown with HK Dynamo Moscow , for whose professional team he made his debut in the Russian Super League in the 1991/92 season . He was only used in one game in the championship season. In 1993 and 1995, the goalkeeper was the CIS master as a regular player with his team. After a total of eight years in professional ice hockey with Dynamo, he left his home country for the 1999/2000 season to play for the Hannover Scorpions in the German Ice Hockey League . After just one season, however, he returned to Russia, where he received a contract with Neftechimik Nizhnekamsk from the Super League. He only stayed there for a year before he was between the posts for HK CSKA Moscow in two seasons . In the 2001/02 season achieved promotion from the second-rate Wysschaya League to the Super League with the capital city .

From 2003 to 2005 Muchometow ran again for Nizhnekamsk in the super league. The junior world champion then spent three seasons with their league rivals Severstal Tscherepowez . After a year at the PHK Krylja Sowetow Moscow in the second Russian division, he was committed for the 2009/10 season by Barys Astana from the Continental Hockey League . After the season he ended his career.

From 2012 he was sports director at Barys Astana, from 2013 he was part of the management of HK CSKA Moscow . He has been General Manager at Admiral Vladivostok since 2015 .

International

For Russia Muchometow took part in the U20 World Junior Championship in 1992 , where he and his team became world champions.
