Ilija Janjić

Ilija Janjić (born September 20, 1944 in Vidovice , Independent State of Croatia ) is a Croatian clergyman and emeritus Roman Catholic Bishop of Kotor .

Life

The Croat Ilija Janjić was ordained a Roman Catholic priest on June 29, 1969 in the Diocese of Kotor . The appointment as bishop of the diocese of Kotor took place on March 11, 1996. The official inauguration took place on April 27, 1996.

Pope Francis accepted his age-related resignation on September 28, 2019.
