Illustrationes Florae Novae Hollandiae is an album of drawings of the flora of Australia , created by the Austrian draftsman Ferdinand Lucas Bauer and published in Oxford in 1813 .

Ferdinand Bauer took part in a research trip to Australia in the period 1801–1805 on board the ship "Investigator", under the direction of Matthew Flinders and with the assistance of the botanist Robert Brown . Ferdinand Bauer piked and colored the pictures by hand. In 1813, three editions of the album appeared, of which around 50 copies were sold, but this did not bring the author any financial success.

Ferdinand Bauer previously released a similar album “ Flora Graeca ”.
